Who are we?
A stronger structure for the future
Recently formed in 2023, we are an organisation made up of –
* current community members
* ex-community members
* local people of Monkton Wyld and the surrounding area
* people with an interest in The Court, who live nationally and internationally
* ex-Trustees
The above people have established a wider association, with the aims of providing support and advice to The Court. An important goal is to help safeguard the future of the charity.
Committee
Chairman – Anson Hartford – a close neighbour, who has had regular interaction with The Court for several years. He produces lovely cider which the pub at The Court used to sell to guests and residents. Anson’s family are also frequent visitors to The Court.
Treasurer – Richard Waite – another close neighbour and a regular visitor to The Court. Along with his wife, Alice, he regularly comes to help with milking. Richard is also involved with the local church Committee and has been a Treasurer of an association in the past.
Secretary – Jon Hill – currently a seasonal worker on the farm at The Court, and this is his second year working at the Community.
